If your loved one has Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia, they can still flourish as a person. Memory Care, also called Memory Support at Hermitage Three Chopt, proves it. Our small, vibrant community is 100 percent dedicated to Memory Support, with expertise, services and innovative programs that have been developed to enrich the lives of our residents.
Our community is a collection of three separate cottages, each of which have 16 private suites. With this small-home model, residents have the privacy of their own suite with a full bath, in a household that is easy to navigate. The interior of each cottage is designed to be explored, encouraging movement without “dead ends.” These intimate spaces are easier to become familiar with, which can reduce anxiety in those who live here. Each cottage has its own dining room, bistro, living/sitting room and other common areas that encourage socialization. All residents are welcome to gather for three meals a day.
Residents can also enjoy nature and take part in programs in our secure outdoor space, which is an ideal place to meet with visitors.
The team members of Hermitage Three Chopt are all tenured professionals who have specialized training in Alzheimer’s and dementia. They are here to guide, support and encourage each resident, with a true sense of caring for those they serve.
Hermitage Three Chopt understands that each person has their own specific needs, which may evolve over time. With this in mind, we offer six levels of personalized support. We also have several different leasing options available.
We invite you to contact us to schedule a tour. The next step is to complete an application containing personal and financial information. A visit with our nurse will be scheduled to determine the appropriate level of support needed. Please contact us at 804 538 4783 for more information about Memory Care and to schedule a tour.
